Sunsrise at L1

This is the Ninth Grand Tower of the Skalathrax L1 station, the four suns rising behind it.

Skalathrax is a Quadruple star system on the opposite side of the Milky Way from us; at the central Lagrange point of the entire system, lies an incredible space station: as large as a planet, it produces as much energy as a star, and is linked to all 31 habitable planets in the system, permitting direct uninhibited travel throughout the system.

The Emmen(more on them later) inhabit the Skalathrax system and each planet therein; their democratic government keeps its highest councils at L1.

The Emmen believe the L1 station was built by the Great Galactics(now long gone) who saw great potential in the Emmen, who used the technology there to build a fantastic civilization, and are now spreading throughout their corner of the galaxy, opposed by their enemies, the Kyrzik.
