I guess it's on: I'm gonna try to publish a fanfiction magazine, first issue(hopefully) on the 15th.

This is for fanfiction, but I'm willing to put in pictures, drawings, poetry, maps, whatever.

To subscribe won't cost you a dime; but by the same token, I can't pay you nothing for your contributions; sorry.

The good news is, if you get published, that's writing credit, which improves your chances of getting any original fiction published in a real magazine.

Contributing guidelines:

1, Length:

Up to 3,000 words is optimum; I'm willing to go up to 5,000 words; longer stories may be published as serials, by arrangement.

2, Foul language:

In moderation, I have no problem with vulgar language; it depends on how much, and how it is used.

A guide: if your characters can have a conversation and curse two or three times, that's fine; if there's two or three conversations in the whole story they don't curse, that's a problem.

3, No netspeak:

If one or two characters speak in netspeak, that's no problem, but the body of the story has gotta be recognizably English.

4, Original fiction:

I am not opposed to original fiction, but this is for fanfiction, so any original writings will have to take back seat.

5, Poetry:

No problem; just so long as it follows the guidelines.

6, Pictures and drawings:

No problem: may be published by arrangement.

7, Format.

Do NOT use indents: double space between paragraphs;

All text will be published in the same size and font, so any fancy formatting tricks won't work. Sorry.

8, Editing:

I will not edit your stories; they will be published exactly the way you wrote them. By the same token, I will not fix typos.

9, Sex:

It's normal, it's natural, sex will not automatically get your story disqualified, but NO pornography!

10, Spelling:

If you have a spellchecker, use it: like I said, I won't fix typos.

11, Property:

I'm not asking for any exclusive rights: any story you submit is still yours: I'm not even looking for first-printing; even if a story's already published, on DA or Fanfiction.com or somewhere; if it's yours, you can submit it.
